Futuristic Education
It is imperative for any School not just to develop the students’ present but also prepare them for future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today. At Young Scholars, we have taken many initiatives towards students’ future.
IIT Foundation Classes
In this quite distinctive and unique initiative, Students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th classes are made to understand various topics targeting IIT-JEE Examination. These Classes not only train and prepare the students for prestigious Competition Examinations but also help them to broaden their academic vision by taking them through extensive in-depth analysis of various related topics.
NTSE Classes
The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level scholarship program in India to identify and nurture talented students. Students studying in Class 10th are eligible to appear for the selection process. As it is organized by an official body (NCERT), it is widely regarded as the most prestigious examination at high school level in India. At Young Scholars, we groom students’ skills to compete and clear such competitive examinations.
Mental Ability Test Classes
In our constant endeavor and commitment to impart Education and not just academics, we have introduced MAT (Mental Ability Test) Classes from 6th Class onwards. These classes in general would sharpen student’s mental ability and enable him to think beyond the obvious. This initiative will certainly ensure that students get all the support, exposure and guidance needed to become a confident, educated and thoroughly practiced scholar.
Smart Assessment System
After successfully implementing Technology enabled Smart Classrooms, now YS Schools have introduced Smart Assessment System. In Smart Assessment System every child in class gets ready to answer the multiple choice questions with their personal answering device, remote, called as SAS. Students click the answers, instantly; teachers are able to get a score sheet for every child in class and she ends the class re-teaching the parts of the lesson that were not understood well by class.
Career Counseling Cell
Career By Choice; Not By Chance
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?” said Alice
“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.
“I don’t much care where—” said Alice.
“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.
From Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
And that’s precisely what’s going on with today’s generation. In today’s world where there are more than 35000 careers, student community faces considerable confusion with regard to choice of career and courses and no one can reach the destination unless he knows what his destination is.
That’s why we have established Career Counseling Cell at YS Schools where regular sessions on Career are provided by qualified professionals. After assessing the intelligence, interest and personality of each and every student, experts identify the careers in which the individual will succeed and counsel him/her accordingly. It helps students to select courses based on their level of intelligence, interests, personality and to prepare them for appropriate careers.
Last year, YS Schools took the initiative to educate the students of various careers by holding Career Counseling Workshops and Seminars at various places namely, Barnala, Tapa, Dhanula, Mehal Kalan etc. which made thousands of students aware about the various fields they can pursue.
